Thurl Ravenscroft, best known as the voice of Tony the Tiger and the song "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch" has died. He was 91. That name always stuck in my head because it is so unique. According to the trivia, his name didn't actually appear in the credits when the tv show first came out, and Dr. Seuss himself had to fix the situation.

I was thinking that it sounded like James Earl Jones. That is what lead me to google for who it was.

I always thought it was Boris Karloff. Did he do the Narrative of the original cartoon?
